One of our tomato plants is presenting us with a steady supply of tomatoes. Parent volunteer, Mrs. Alarcon, turned them into a mild roasted tomato salsa. What a treat it was for Vintage's 4th Grade Garden Club. Thank you, Mrs. Alarcon! As a thank you, the garden club picked some snap peas for Mrs. Alarcon.

This February almost seems like spring. Lucky us. We can garden almost year round. This gathering of the 4th Grade Garden Club sees us cleaning our garden of dead leaves and weeds. We are also feeding our roses with Epsom Salt (Magnesium sulfate).
