The rains are so welcome but we do miss coming out at recess on Mondays to work on our 4th Grade Garden Club Plots. When we returned to our garden, we discovered "garden pests!" There was aphids and fungus (mushrooms)j. We took the opportunity to look at the aphids up close with a magnifying glass. Then we through those plants away. We left the mushrooms alone for now. Ms. Silvia also helped us plant some native California plants in our Native/Butterfly/Drought Tolerant Garden.
