Vintage Magnet's 4th Grade Garden Club members were thrilled to begin planting their winter garden. Past experience has shown that the cooler weather and rains produce a successful garden in our mild southern California area. Ms. Silvia paid Mr. List of Sylmar High School's agriculture program a visit and brought back lettuce, herbs, and other vegetables to start of our garden. Students learned about how to remove plants from a pot, loosen the roots, and gentle place it in the correct size hole. We can't wait to see them grow.
