Last year we planted a Butterfly Garden. We didn't see a lot of butterflies so we weren't sure what to expect. But, today we noticed a monarch caterpillar on Mrs. Stone's shirt. We looked in our Butterfly Garden and found lots of caterpillars munching on the plants in the garden just like we had hoped. Now to wait and see what happens next. Yea! Our garden is a Monarch way station as they migrate. As cities grow, there are less and less places for butterflies to find food and a place to live. Our butterfly garden may be small but we hope we make a difference.
