The 4th Grade Garden Club is back at it. Digging old dirt out. Putting in new dirt. Planting more seeds in our garden plot. This time carrot seeds. Making another trellis. Helping Room 33 first graders plants vegetables in their class garden plot. Can't you tell by the smiles in these photos how much fun they are having!

December is upon us. Great weather (cooler) for gardening. We have finished removing dirt from some more of the plots and are adding new dirt. SWe raked flat the dirt we removed and relocated. Still more work to do removing old soil in other plots. Our Garden Club's plot is looking pretty good. We added some yellow and purple pansies to brighten the winter garden. The peas we planted need trellises to crawl up so we are working on redoing ones the past Garden Club made. We discovered a Black Widow in the compose bin and were careful to keep away from it. |
