The kindergarden class planted plants that started with the vowels letters such as Artichokes for the vowel.
Winter garden summary - It is mid Februay and we thought it a good idea to evaluate our garden.
Overall, our radishes did not do well, our snap peas were great and so was our lettuce. We had an especially cold winter for our area so our tomatoes didn't do as well. Cilantro grew nicely and we also did well with cauliflower. Carrots are still growing as is celery we planted from the base of previous grown celery. Chard is also starting to look ready to pick as are the onions. The mint looks like it could use more water and sun. It's all a learning experience! We are proud of what we have achieved so far. |
