Before winter break we harvested lettuce leaves from our 4th Grade Garden Plot. Garden Club members were appointed to wash the leaves and spin them dry. A few students were the chefs and assembled the wraps using: lettuce leaves, cheese, Ranch dressing, and deli chicken. These quick, healthy snacks were a hit with the students.

Thanks to Ms. Lisa, her husband, and the Natural History Museum, t-shirts were donated to the 4th Grade Garden club to wear while we are gardening. This will help us stay clean. Everyone loved the purple shirts. Ms Carolyn helped us plant a few more Sweet Pea seeds in a 9-pack to replant later outside rooms 33 and 34. We continued picking up the fall leaves that blanket the campus with Mrs. Stone's supervision. Garden stepping stones were swept off making a neat pathway through the garden. Ms. Silvia showed us how our worms have eaten the pumpkin and other items left in the worm bin. Boy they a hungry group of worms.
